How to Kill it in Wedges and Heels

As you can probably tell from how I dressed in this picture, I was feeling skimpy... yep... feeling naughty on a Sunday morning. The task for the day was really simple - dress up and go to church. I had to go to church today looking all modest and holy but I just wanted to go with this short dress and wedges. Leaving the house, all I could think of was how much pain I could have be feeling in these shoes... but strangely, I was as comfortable as a pea in a pod.

So now I want to share 4 tips on how to wear platforms and high heels in general.

1. Find the right shoe size and rock it!
Many of us ladies always end up in the wrong size of shoes because the shoes either don't come in our sizes or we're just in love with that exact shoe and think we can't live without it... so as expected, we buy it. That, my dear ladies, is the worst mistake we can make. The tip here is to get your feet measured when you're out shoe shopping.

2. Know the type of foot you have
Did you know that we all have different types of feet? Well, that's the job of a Podiatrist - a feet specialist. You can either have a flat foot or a high-arch foot but the best way to tell is either through google or by visiting the nearest Podiatrist. Want to do it the way I did? Ok... Wet your foot and step onto a piece of construction paper. This should show you how flattened or high-arched your foot is.

3. The Best Heels are the thickest Heels
If you're not a pro, I suggest you stay away from the thin stiletto heels. Pointed and thin heels will make your foot shake and wobble so for starters, try the thicker, chunkier heel designs.

4. Rest Your Pretty Feet
Take some days off from heels and let you toes and ankles rest it out. Do some stretched that will work out the front of your foot and your ankles. Pointing your toes down, pulling them up with a strap and turning them side to side on a regular basis will do wonders for those feet of yours..

These are some of the tips and tricks that can help. Make sure you try them out and let me know how it worked out for you.

Please leave a comment and tell me anything... it can even be about your day today or yesterday. What did you do?
